Girls get "Pampered"
Girls Pampered night was a great success. The girls received
facials, manicures and pedicures. Imani, Nail Tech, assisted with doing the girls nails, and to see their faces was a joy
as they were getting their nails done. Annette, Co-Director was speaking with the girls and they were conversing about
school and other activities. Jennifer, Creative Director, was assistng with the girls in all activities. Parents
later came and saw first-hand why Girls Heart 2 Heart is doing such a good job with their girls.

New Life in Christ By: Zhane Perry I am seventeen years old and a senior in high school;
I have my whole life ahead of me and I’ll get saved when I’m older and finished partying. These were the things
I constantly told myself that kept me from going to the altar on a Sunday morning and getting saved. I grew up in the church
and I was fully aware of God’s plan for my life. I knew that God required that I live a saved life no matter what my
age was. With that in mind I found myself at the altar giving my life to the Lord. After I got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, my
life changed. I began to lose friends and question the people I surrounded myself with. I didn’t see the blessings that
God had given me; all I saw was what He was taking away. However, I realized that God was only bringing me through this so
that I would be a light for somebody else. So, I embraced my new life and rejoiced because God has blessed me and I was now
able to bless somebody else.
As Christians we are saved that we might save others. I am now able to be a witness to those friends that I began to lose,
saying if God can do it for me He can do it for you. I want to be able to encourage and be a positive influence for young
girls just like me that had those same thoughts. This new life in Christ is far better than the old life. I bless God that
